   I moved to North Carolina in 1997 after completing my masters in elementary and special education. I've been teaching for 20 years working with students in grades K-6. I am a lifelong learner and have a special passion for teaching literacy. I am a mother to a fantastic teenage son named Nicholas and my fur baby Winnie. Brassfield has been my home for over 10 years and hopefully for many more to come.

 

 

 

 

My name is Jeryl Shapper. This is my second year at Brassfield and my 11th year working in the Wake County Public School System. I love my job and am happy to be part of the Brassfield Team. When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my children and grandchildren.
